Terms of Service

Forthbeam Studio ("we", "us") is a trading name of Oluwapelumi Oshundiya. These terms apply to the Launch-Ready Audit and any optional follow-on work we agree after it. We confirm scope with you before payment; by paying, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

• Launch-Ready Audit: a review of your application against our 20-point checklist, a written report, one critical fix chosen by us, and a 30-minute walkthrough call.
• Production Fix Sprint: optional fixes scoped and quoted after the audit, starting at $750. The agreed fixes are delivered in 3 to 7 days, with tests, a repeatable deploy, and handover.
• Care Plan: optional maintenance after the audit at $300 per month, including dependency and security updates, error and uptime watch, and up to 4 hours of fixes a month.

Anything not included in the confirmed service scope or written quote is out of scope. We will agree any change and its price with you before doing additional work.

2. Payment

The Launch-Ready Audit costs $149 and is paid in full before work starts. We review each request and confirm the audit scope before sending payment instructions privately. A Production Fix Sprint is quoted after the audit, with 50% paid upfront and 50% on handover. If booked within 14 days of delivery of the audit report, the $149 audit fee is credited against the Sprint quote. Care Plans are billed monthly in advance. No payment is taken on this website.

3. Delivery and refunds

The 48-hour audit clock starts when we confirm both payment and the required working access to your application. If we don't deliver the report within 48 hours of that confirmation, we refund the audit fee in full and you keep the report. We agree the Sprint start date and required access in writing. If you cancel before a Sprint starts, we refund its upfront payment. You can cancel a Care Plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.

4. Your responsibilities

• Give us the access we need, ideally read-only, and tell us about anything sensitive in the codebase.
• You remain responsible for your application, its data, backups and compliance with laws that apply to you.
• Only grant access to systems you are authorised to share.

5. No guarantees

Our review reduces risk; it does not eliminate it. We do not guarantee that your application is free of vulnerabilities, bugs or outages after our work. Our audit is not a formal penetration test or a compliance certification.

6. Confidentiality and ownership

We keep your code, data and business information confidential and use it only to deliver the service. You own your code and the fixes we write for you once paid in full. We may reuse general know-how and our own checklists and templates. We will not name you as a client without your permission.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in question, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
